We’ve all had those days. You know the ones I’m talking about…Long day at work, you can barely move and the thought of having to put a meal on the table is the last thing you want to do but, you are just WAY to tired to leave the house. So you think, I’ll just order in. Then you think by the time you figure out which place your going to get delivery from then you’ll have to wait a minimum of 45 minutes before you’ll get the food delivered.
What if you had planned ahead and was able to put an awesome meal on the table in 20 minutes or less? You could have the whole meal prepared, on the table, and almost done eating in the time it take delivery to get to you. Why not make this quick meal a reality?
With a little bit of planning 20 minute meals are possible! Today I am featuring ground turkey tacos with re-fried beans. This is a go to meal for my family. This meal takes me about 15 minutes to make and everyone loves it.
These tacos are gluten free (depending on the tortillas), dairy free (if you choose not to add cheese as a garnish), oil free, 21 day fix approved, and you can also substitute the meat with TVP for a vegetarian version. I love how versatile this recipe is.
Cooking at home saves time and money. You are also in complete control of what ingredients are used. I like to stay away from ingredients I can’t pronounce. Also, I try to keep the salt content low and I saute using water instead of oil.
I go into step by step instruction on how to prepare this meal in the recipe card I have available for you to download. Everything you will need to make this is listed at the top of the recipe card in the ingredient list.
I hope you and who you are cooking for enjoy this meal as much as my family does!
