Blueberry Sugar Scrub Cubes
I love sugar scrubs. Not only are they great for exfoliating your skin, but the smell great as well! However, even though they are totally awesome, the downside is that they can get rather messy.
This is one of the biggest reasons why I love using these sugar scrubs in a cube form! These blueberry sugar scrub cubes are super simple to make and actually contain fresh blueberries! That simple addition alone gives them a beautiful pop of color!
How long can you store homemade sugar scrubs?
You can store these homemade sugar scrubs in your fridge for up to one month. (They need to be kept in the fridge because of the addition of the fresh blueberries) And with the fact that they’re cut up into individual cubes, you can literally just take out one at a time to use.
If you feel that you can’t use them all in enough time before they start to lose their freshness, you may want to cut down on the size and make a smaller batch.

Ingredients needed to make homemade sugar scrub cubes:
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 1/8 pounds (2 cubes) shea butter melt and pour soap base
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- Glass measuring cup
- Rectangular silicone mold
How to make homemade blueberry sugar scrub cubes
1. Take your fresh blueberries and add them to a food processor. Puree them completely.
2. Next, you are going to want to melt your soap base in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. If after that time it is not completely melted, keep adding on another 10 seconds until it is melted.
3. Take your blueberry puree and mix in into the melted soap base, along with the olive oil and sugar. Make certain to stir very well once combined. If you notice that it’s starting to thicken up, simply place it back in the microwave for another 5-10 seconds to melt.
4. Once done, take your mixture and pour it into your silicone mold. Leave it alone and allow it to sit for 3 hours.
5. After that time has passed, remove from mold and cut each bar into 4 cubes.
6. Take and store in the refrigerator for up to one month after making.
