Small Pantry Organization
I recently added some corner shelves to help add some extra kitchen pantry storage. This helped store small appliances and baking supplies. It can be impossible to stock up on food because you just don’t have the space to fit it all.

Trying to keep open bags of chips, pasta, and other food items in your pantry organized can be an impossible task. One of the easiest ways to keep your small pantry organized is to use containers to store your food. Using a combination of storage containers and baskets will allow you to create zones and keep everything labeled.
I love to use mason jars for smaller items, and then I purchased large glass containers to store baking essentials, beans, nuts, rice, pasta, and other pantry staples.
How to organize a pantry with deep shelves?
The big problem I faced was that all of our pantry shelves were way too deep. I had tried plastic containers but it just didn’t work. I added pull-out drawers to our pantry to help. We are able to get to the items in the back and see exactly where everything is.
Small pantry organization zones
When organizing our small pantry I set up zones, baking, snacking, herbs and spices, and “other”. “Other” includes nuts, pasta, beans, and rice. These items didn’t fit into the zones I had already set-up.
The baking zone included flours and sugars. The snacking zone included chips, crackers, pretzels, and cereals. And finally, herbs and spices also included things like baking soda, baking powder, extracts, along with other herbs and spices.
Below are a few items that I used to organize our pantry.
