How do you wrap a present perfectly?
Once everything is arranged, you need to follow these steps in order to get the end result. The steps are:
Lay down the wrapping paper on top of the large flat surface, with the glossy or decorative surface facing down.
With the help of a measuring tape, measure the width of the broad flat surface of the box that is to be wrapped. Also, measure the width of the narrow flat surface of the box that is to be wrapped.
Add both the measurements and multiply it with two. On the wrapping paper mark this length with a pencil adding 2cms on both sides.
With the help of the measuring tape, measure the height of the box on the broad surface of the box.
Mark the height on the wrapping paper adding 3cms on both sides.
Cut along a straight line over the marked points, such that the lines intersect on all four ends.
Place the box in the middle of the cut paper and fold them over the broader surface so that it covers the box on all sides with only the bottom and top of the box left uncovered. Secure with an adhesive tape. One side of the paper should be secured to the box and the other side should overlap and be secured to the wrapping paper itself.
Fold the excess paper on the top and bottom of the box to create two triangles. Crease the paper to create a cleaner look. Fold these triangles on top of each other and secure with an adhesive tape.
Tie a ribbon across the box and knot it fashionably. Add decorative items to the box to enhance the look.
