You need to ascertain what is important to you ahead of setting your priorities. This might be hard when there are too many important things to do and you just cannot decide which is most important. In such cases, narrow down to two things which are extremely important and focus to figure out which one has to be done first. For instance, one task might be to look for a good school for your child and the other might be to look for an apartment. Both of these tasks are extremely important. In this case, you can search for a good school for your child first and later search for an apartment in the vicinity.
Make a list:
Jot down all that is important in a sheet of paper. This will make your task easy and manageable. It will also give a clear idea of things that are paramount to you. Now number the tasks. Number one is the most important; number two is the second most important and so on.
Make an action plan:
You need to have an action plan to make things work smoothly. If your plan is to achieve something in the coming year or want to gain more knowledge in a field that you are currently working for, you need to associate them with your priorities. This not only helps you to focus also aids in achieving your dreams.
