In this post, I want to give you simple self-motivation action items you can take with you on a daily basis so it doesn’t feel so hard to get through the day. As a mom that stays at home my daily life becomes quite monotonous and at times it becomes quite hard to get anything done.

How to become self-motivated?
Becoming self-motivated takes effort when you really don’t feel like doing anything at all. However, by following one, a few, or all of the motivation tips I have listed below you should be able to find some motivation when you need it the most. I know what it’s like to feel like you have no energy to get up and unload the dishwasher or do a load of laundry. That’s how I came up with this planner to help me get off the couch and become more self-motivated.
Identify your Goals
Any work or chore you do should have an important objective. If you are cooking, the goal should be a tasty and healthy meal. If you are cleaning, the goal should be a hygienic and clean home. We all live for a higher purpose and work can seem meaningless and a drain when you lack clear goals and objectives. Every time you have a task on hand, identify the goal behind said task and experience a substantial change in your motivation to get the job done.
Loving yourself is irrevocably connected to any job you do to benefit yourself. Whether it is cleaning your home because you understand the benefits of living in a healthy and hygienic environment. Or it might be getting workplace assignments done on time because you value your professional reputation. Loving yourself can make a world of a difference in your general attitude and motivation towards anything in life.
Make a Move
Motivation to get off the couch is often more physical than mental. Spending too much time sitting around may put your body into relax mode and what you need is to simply get moving. Yes! This is easy said and easy done! Just opt for a warm-up exercise before you go about your tasks and chores.
Have A Plan
Do you have too many chores to do? Feeling confused and lethargic? Well, the plan is having a plan! If you have a metaphorical laundry list of chores lined up, what you need to do is draw up a real-time list. Prioritize your chores and check them off even as you get them done. Breaks are important. Smart work is as important as hard work. Hence, do not expend all your energy and motivation by working without appropriate breaks. Breaks relax you and get you rejuvenated for the next set of tasks on hand.
Enjoy Your Job
There is no reason not to enjoy your job, task, or chores. Put on some happy music, lighten your mood, and go about your chores like they truly make you happy, because work is definitely a positive thing.

Some meals are just not right when you need to follow them up with essential chores. Heavy meals loaded with carbohydrates and sugars can bog you down and prove to an impediment in your work. It is always imperative top reward yourself after some substantial task is completed. Rewards always keep up the motivation to do the next task.
