How long is this decluttering challenge?
This decluttering challenge is a short or as long as you need it to go. There are so many 30 day or 30 bag challenges out there that fall short. They don’t get to the root of the problem — motivation and overwhelm. (Okay so maybe that’s 2).
It’s about tackling a place in your home that you’ve been avoiding and getting results in just 20 minutes. When you so the transformation you’ll want to continue.
What will you be covering?
Like I said earlier, this is a 2 part process. In part one I’ll walk you through:
- Finding your reward
- Finding your struggle
- Develop your overall goal
Sounds fun, right. It’s like eating dessert for dinner or even breakfast. I’m walking you through I how transformed my home.
In part two I’ll walk you through my 20 minute daily decluttering system. Picking a spot, completely decluttering that area, and putting everything away.
There’s just 1 catch — you can only spend 20 minutes a day decluttering. I don’t want anyone to get overwhelmed during this decluttering challenge.
Emotional attachments to items
I know that this is a huge part of clutter and that’s why we are taking on small sections at a time and focusing on 3 things, keep, donate, garbage. I have found from personal experience the more you follow this system the easier it is to let go of emotional attachments.
Yes, it’s a thing! It’s actually a form of anxiety! If you feel depressed at home or in an area of your home you might have clutter depression and this decluttering challenge will help you with this.

No! That’s the beauty of this challenge it’s completely free and you don’t need to buy or increase the items in your home. All you need is internet access to watch the videos and follow along with my instructions.
