You will not believe how much cheaper it is to make homemade laundry soap. Like, crazy cheap. If you think it’s too hard to make DIY laundry soap, think again. Not only is this laundry soap recipe inexpensive, but you can make a lot of it at once very easily. I find that making it in bulk like this really helps me be better organized!

Very Simple Homemade Laundry Soap Recipe
You may not find another DIY laundry soap recipe as easy as this! I was shocked when I realized that I could be making my own laundry soap with ease. And I’m excited to be sharing this recipe with all of you!
You will only need three ingredients for this laundry detergent recipe:
- 2 parts borax
- 1 part washing soda
- 1 part castile soap bar
If you’re using 1 bar of soap, you will need 1 cup of washing soda and one cup of borax.
You can either grate the bar of soap or run it through the food processor. You want it to be finely ground. Mix all three ingredients together, store in an airtight jar, and that’s it. For each standard load of laundry, you will need 2 to 4 tablespoons of laundry soap.
